Multisim Astable Multivibrator Frequency Not Changing with Component Adjustments
Hey folks, I'm working on an astable multivibrator circuit in Multisim based on a standard schematic, and I've wired it up exactly as shown. The goal is to produce an oscillating clock signal where I can tweak the frequency by swapping out the resistor and capacitor values. Right now, it's generating a signal, but no matter what I do—bumping up or down the R and C, or even zeroing them out—the frequency stays locked in place. I've poked around the settings but can't spot the glitch. Anyone run into this before and know a fix? Running the current Multisim release on my setup.

Yo, I bumped into something like this with Multisim oscillators—turns out the cap placement was throwing it off. Shift that C1 over to ground right at the input of your first op-amp stage, and that might sort the frequency response. Also, dive into the transient analysis options under Simulate > Analyses and make sure your time steps are fine-tuned for catching those changes. Double-check you're not overriding values accidentally in the properties, and if all else fails, hit up for a software patch since bugs creep in sometimes. That got mine ticking properly after some trial and error.
