Multisim Simulation Crashing on Diode Clipper Circuit Run
I'm trying to simulate this effects pedal setup in Multisim that includes a few diode clipper sections for distortion, but every time I hit run, the whole thing just bombs out—no warnings, just a straight crash. I suspect it's tied to the clippers since stripping them lets it simulate fine, but I need them in there. Plus, I'm looking for a clean way to toggle between different clipper setups without rewiring everything each time. Has this happened to you, and what's a solid workaround? Using the latest version here.

Faced a crash fest like that in Multisim with diode-heavy designs—usually boils down to convergence hiccups from the non-linear bits. Head to Simulate > Interactive Simulation Settings and crank the max time step or loosen the tolerances a tad, like to 1e-3, to give it breathing room. For switching clippers, slap in some SPDT switches or voltage-controlled ones to flip configs on the fly without redrawing. If it persists, isolate the clipper block and sim that solo to nail the offender, maybe swap diode models too. Cleared my crashes after tweaking those params.
